Hey, it was a great week on Elevate Springfield, but as always, a great week on Elevate Springfield. Appreciate you coming in on a weekend. And a quick recap of the week. On Sunday, we started like we always do with your weekly battle plan. Then on Monday, we had Eddie Lowen, lead guy over at Westside Christian Church. A great conversation with how the church has grown under his leadership and before. And really just a lot about faith, family, purpose. There's so many great takeaways from that conversation. If you haven't heard that one, make sure you go back and check that out. Then on Tuesday, we had our next Jen segment. Ellie was back in and we talked about common disagreements between parents and teens. Some of the main takeaways for that was communication and making sure you are truly trying to understand each other's point of view to maybe get away from some of those disagreements and come to some kind of common ground. Then on Wednesday for our communities grow together segment, we had Lisa Goldberg Bell from the Women's Entrepreneurship of Central Illinois. They've got their showcase event coming up where they showcase women-owned businesses and everything that they have going on in the area. So that's going to be over at the Crown Plaza. Make sure you check that out. Then on Thursday, we had Timo Arthur, an individual that has had a phenomenal music career and has just been all over the world playing guitar with some great groups, had a really great time learning about his background in all the different countries. I believe 15 different countries that he said that they had been to, and of course, all across the United States. And if you didn't catch that episode yet, it was the first time we had live music on Elevate Springfield. He played one of his original songs there toward the end of the episode. So if you haven't checked that out, certainly do so. Then on Friday, we had the wellness upgrade. That was a solo episode with me. Hey, just me and my health and wellness journey. I talked you through a three-day fast, how powerful they can be, and really my experience just about a week and a half ago when I personally did it. So if you've ever thought about doing a three-day fast, check that one out, give you some tips and tricks there, and how I felt as I was going through those three days. So for today, Monday and Thursday guests, both Eddie Lowen and Timo Arthur, talked a lot about faith. They're very faith-driven, purpose-driven individuals. So I thought today w I would uh discuss spirituality and success. Maybe you want to call it the 10x faith mindset. So let's dive into that a little bit today. See, most people separate spirituality and success, which you really shouldn't. Because here's the thing we're not talking about soft, passive version of spirituality. We're talking about the kind that drives action, builds empires, and aligns you with something bigger than yourself. Because here's the truth you cannot operate in a 10x level in your life without a 10x connection to your purpose. So let's get into that a little bit. Spirituality and success. They can go together and they should go together. So let's get something straight right here at the beginning. Spirituality is not about sitting back, hoping things work out and waiting for the universe to deliver to you. That's not spirituality, that's avoidance. That's not faith, that's avoidance. Real spirituality is alignment, alignment with truth, alignment with purpose, alignment with God, or whatever you define as your higher power. You know, GC and I, when I'm on this show, often talk about massive action, right? But what people miss is this massive action without alignment can lead to burnout. But massive action with alignment, that creates that unstoppable force. When you know deep down that what you're doing matters, that it's not just about money or status or ego, you operate differently. You move with certainty, you take bigger risks, you stop playing small. So let's challenge a belief that holds a lot of people at the back. Some people think that being spiritual or being faithful means being modest, quiet, and small. It does not. You know, if you believe you were created by something great, then why would you want to be small? Why would a powerful creator design you to struggle, hide, and barely get by? Or would that creator expect you to multiply, expand, and create impact? You've heard me say it before, and I get it straight from GC. Success is your duty, obligation, and responsibility. Now let's add spirituality to that. Success becomes your spiritual responsibility because you when you succeed at a high level, you help more people, you create more opportunities, you become an example. But playing small isn't humble, it's simply not living up to your true potential. So let's talk about faith. A lot of people misunderstand it. They think faith means believing something will happen without doing anything. But real faith, faith is demonstrated through action. If you say that you trust God, but you're not taking action, you're not stepping out, you're not pushing your limits, do you really trust? Faith is not passive, it's quite frankly, it can be aggressive with action. You know, GC talks about 10x action. Faith is what allows you to sustain that level of action because you're not just relying on yourself anymore, you're backed by something bigger. Now, here's where spirituality can directly impact your results. You have two different mindsets here: scarcity versus abundance. You've probably heard this before. The scarcity mindset versus abundance mindset. Scarcity says there's not enough. Hey, I might lose. I should simply play it safe. Whereas abundance says there's more than enough, I can create more, I can expand. Now, which one do you think aligns with a higher power? If you believe in a creator of everything, why would you believe in limitation? GC is constantly pushing expansion. More deals, more reach, more growth. That's not greed, that's alignment with abundance. So spirituality really should make you think bigger, not smaller. But if we're honest, you're gonna face setbacks. You're gonna get rejected, you're gonna fail, you're gonna question everything at some point. And if your only motivation is money, you'll simply quit. But when your work is connected to something deeper, your purpose, your calling, your spiritual mission, you're not gonna stop because it's not just about you. It's about the people you're meant to help, the impact you're meant to create, and the life you're meant to build. Grant talks a lot about obsession. You've heard me talk about be obsessed or be average and the power of obsession. Spirituality gives obsession meaning, it transforms that hustle into mission. And here's something a lot of people don't connect. Discipline is spiritual. Why? Because discipline is doing what you said you would do even when you don't feel like it. That's integrity. And integrity is spiritual alignment in action. When you wake up early, put in the work, stay consistent, you're not just building a business or a career, you're building character. And character is what allows you to handle success when it comes. Without discipline, success can be really hard for people. But with discipline, success can help people multiply their success. You know, a lot of people think if I'm spiritual or faithful, I should just be grateful and content. And yes, gratitude is powerful, but here's the mistake they use gratitude as an excuse to stop growing. You can be grateful and still want more. You can appreciate what you have and still have a bigger vision. You know, GC himself embodies this. Celebrate wins, but don't stay there. Spirituality and faith doesn't mean settling, it means recognizing what you've been given and maximizing it. And spirituality is not about blaming fate, luck, or circumstances, it's about ownership. You are responsible for your actions, your mindset, your results. Even if things happen, your response to those things is still completely yours, still completely up to you. GC always emphasizes responsibility. And spiritually, that makes sense because if you've been given free will, then you've been given power. And with that power, as we s hear in the superhero stories, comes responsibility. So let's zoom out a little bit. At the end of your life, what matters? Not just what you earned, but what you built. What impact did you create? Who did you help? What legacy did you leave? Spirituality and faith forces you to think long term. GC talks a lot about building empires. But the deeper question is, are you building something that outlasts you? That's where success and spirituality meet. So what would maybe a 10X spiritual life look like? You think big because you believe in abundance. You act boldly because you have faith. You stay disciplined because you value integrity. You pursue success because it's your responsibility, and you stay grounded because you're grateful. This isn't about choosing between success and spirituality, it's about combining them. Because when you do, you don't just win financially, you win fully. And that drives you into that 10x super life that you've heard me talk about before. So if this hit you a little bit today, hey, don't just listen to the words I said. Start applying it. Take more action, think bigger, move with purpose. And remember, we're not here to play small. We're here to go 10x in every area of our lives. We'll be back after the break. Looking for expert tree care with hometown integrity, look no further than Sangamon Tree Service.
